Carla Tovar, MA, LPC-I
Carla Tovar was born in Lima, Peru, where she gained experience working as a Licensed Counselor. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St Mary's University in San Antonio Texas. Currently she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Saint Mary’s University . She has experience working with children who have behavioral problems, adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief. Works with couples to help them improve their communication skills. Has worked with Dr. Ramirez leading groups therapy for teenagers and young adults.
Amaranta Penate-Marty, MS, LPC-I
Amaranta was born in El Salvador. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master in Professional Counseling.
She is gaining experience working with mood, and behavioral problems such as anxiety, grief, substance abuse, and communication strategies. She works with adults, children and adolescents in individual, couples and group therapy settings.
Gladys Rodriguez, MA
Gladys was born and raised in Nuevo Laredo, Tams., Mexico. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Mary's University, where she received training in play therapy, sand therapy and art therapy. Her love for God and her calling to serve others have led her to work very closely with children for almost 10 years and has taught children ages 3 through 13 for 7 years at a Catholic school. She has served as a counselor in the school setting and taught guidance lessons to teenagers, developing a strong passion to work with the youth and their families.
Eddy Cisneros, BA
Eddy was born and raised in Cuba, currently resides in San Antonio, Texas. He has a degree in psychology and a specialty in clinical psychology He received training in psychotherapy approach gestalt and couple therapy. His work is centered and inspired by the entailment of Psychology and Spirituality. Eddy is very passionate about assisting others in their quest for personal transformation that involves liberation from suffering and the encounter with the transcendent.
